2022年2月, a regular customer asked us to help fly a five-tonne oil pipe from 比利时 to the Ivory Coast, where it was urgently needed to keep a supply chain running. The client had started transporting the cargo by sea but this method wasn’t quick enough, so it was removed from the ship in Antwerp 和 taken to Liège Airport to travel the rest of the way by air. We worked around the clock to find a suitable aircraft at short notice.

We managed to find a rear-loading Antonov An-26 that could carry the long pipe 和 was available for this last-minute charter. The heavy cargo almost exceeded the aircraft’s maximum weight, so we had to incorporate several fuel stops along the way in order to complete the journey.
